PRP/PRF

PRP/PRF for Treatment of Face, Hair, Skin

What Is PRP?

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a cutting-edge form of regenerative medicine that is becoming widely used in injury healing and aesthetics. This breakthrough regenerative therapy utilizes your own blood platelets in a concentrated form, which contains bioactive proteins and specific growth factors that promote tissue repair, collagen production and new capillary formation for improved circulation. We offer the latest platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapies. PRF is a second-generation version of PRP in which autologous platelets and leucocytes are present in a complex fibrin matrix designed to speed soft- and hard-tissue healing. PRF can be used on the face to speed healing and promote healthy skin.

What to Expect?

We draw your blood in-office and place it in specially prepared test tubes, then spin it in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets. We then activate the separated platelets so they are ready to be injected either alone or in conjunction with dermal fillers or other nonsurgical procedures such as microneedling, microdermabrasion and Blue Cell™ regenerative techniques. With PRP, you can use your body’s own regenerative powers to rejuvenate your skin and achieve a more youthful look. Your results will be gradual, beginning to show about three to four weeks after treatment. They continue to improve over time. We usually recommend six to 12 treatments for your best results.
